Web design

A three-page website, designed in Saltash for nothing, then £50 a month + VAT to keep it online.

We design your home page first and send it to you as a private link, so you can see where it's heading before the rest is built. The contact and about pages follow, and the site is usually live within seven working days of us getting your words and photos.

The design is free because you stay for the hosting: £50 a month plus VAT, which covers the server and the security certificate. That only works for us if the site is good enough that you want to keep it, which is a useful thing for a web designer to be stuck with.

It's built for the phone first, because that's where someone in Torpoint with a leaking tap is looking. Your number sits at the top of every page and rings when it's tapped.

On the three pages

  • A home page that says what you do, where you do it and how to get hold of you
  • A contact page with your number, your email and the towns you cover
  • An about page, so people know who's turning up

How it works

  1. 01

    Ring or send a message

Call 01752 845258 or use the contact form. You speak to the person who will design and build the site.

  2. 02

    Send your words and photos

What you do, where you work, how people reach you, and pictures of your work. The seven working days count from here.

  3. 03

    See your home page first

Designed around your business: your colours, your images, and a video or a still picture at the top. It's sent to you as a private link, so you can see where it's heading before the rest is built.

  4. 04

The contact and about pages follow

The site is usually live within seven working days of us getting your words and photos, and hosting is £50 a month + VAT to keep it online.

Need more than three pages, or want SEO from the start? Starter is £149 to set up and £69 a month + VAT, rolling monthly. See every plan →

Before you ring

What exactly is free?
Designing and building three pages: a home page, a contact page and an about page. They're designed from scratch the way you want them, in your colours, with your images, and with a video or a still picture at the top of the home page. There is no setup fee on this plan.
What will I pay?
£50 a month plus VAT for hosting, which covers the server and the SSL certificate. You also pay for your domain name. Changes after the site is live are £25 + VAT for a small one, such as new wording or a photo swap, and £50 an hour + VAT for anything bigger, quoted before we start.
What isn't included?
Extra pages, SEO and Google Ads, which start on Starter at £149 + VAT to set up and £69 a month + VAT. Changes after launch are charged too, from £25 + VAT. Online shops are quoted per job, because forty products and four thousand are different builds.
Why would you design it for nothing?
Because you stay for the hosting. The design costs you nothing and the £50 a month is where we earn our keep, so it only works if the site is good enough that you want to keep it.
What happens if I want to leave?
Give 30 days' notice. The site stays with us, because the design was free in return for the hosting.
Who is it for?
Local businesses in Cornwall and Devon: trades, shops, cafés, salons and anyone else whose customers are nearby. We're in Saltash and cover Saltash, Plymouth, Torpoint, Callington, Liskeard, Tavistock, Truro, Looe, Newquay and Wadebridge.
